Who this covers

This policy describes what Gitvurl, at gitvurl.com, collects when you use the site. Questions can be sent to support@gitvurl.com.

Accounts and authentication

Sign-in is provided by Supabase. We store the email address on your account, the sign-in provider (Google, GitHub, or email magic link), and the display name you save in your account metadata. Session cookies keep you signed in. Password sign-in, when you use it, is handled by Supabase and the password is not stored in Gitvurl application code.

Google One Tap

Signed-out visitors may see Google One Tap. The browser loads Google's script from accounts.google.com. If you continue, Google returns an ID token that Gitvurl sends to Supabase to create or resume your session. The prompt is skipped when you are already signed in. If the Google client is not configured, the prompt is not shown.

Cookies

Gitvurl uses cookies so Supabase can keep your session and so the site can tell a signed-in visit from a signed-out one. These cookies are required for the dashboard, settings, and sign-out. We do not use advertising cookies.

Scripts and product pages

Scripts you save are stored in Supabase and are visible only to your account. When you generate a script, Gitvurl fetches the public product URL you submit and uses that page to write the copy. Do not submit URLs or text you are not allowed to use.

Plan usage

The free plan counts active scripts created in the current month, up to 5. That count is read from your saved scripts. New accounts also receive a starting credit balance used when a generation succeeds.

Analytics

Gitvurl uses Vercel Web Analytics for page views and Vercel Speed Insights for web vitals such as loading performance. These measurements help us see which pages are used. They are not used to build an advertising profile.

Sharing

Account data is processed by Supabase. Hosting and analytics are processed by Vercel. Google processes One Tap and Google sign-in if you use them. GitHub processes GitHub sign-in if you use it. We do not sell personal information.
